Figma UI Kit Customization

While in my previous position, I found that my team was not creating mockups as quickly and consistently as we could be. To fill this gap, I took it upon myself to supply the team with a Figma UI Kit that matched our design system and development library components that could be used to quickly create any mockups we needed, and allow devs a great resource to reference, ensuring consistency between mockup and final product.

To complete this task, I first found a base UI kit that I was able to customize, changing the color pallet, typefaces, and any components we would need, as well as create any that were missing. What it includes is:

• Foundational Elements - colors, typography, icons, etc.​
• 70+ Components - inputs, buttons, navigational items, data tables, messaging, cards, panels, overlays, etc.​
• Variants - allows for property and state switching as well as responsive prototyping.​
• Auto Layout - consistent spacing, ease of rearrangement​
• Templating - full page templates available for fast design kickoff​

Brand Identity Creation

For about 3 years I was a part time streamer on Twitch, which was SO fun, but that gave me the opportunity to practice my skills as a designer and create a whole identity suite for myself. This included a logo, multiple "scenes", social media banners, bio banners, sub badges, and emotes.

Digital Art

As a Freelance artist, I will often create digital art for clients that range from "chibi" and "anime" styled avatars to logos and posters. I love digital art and finding new styles to create in. The process of creating these pieces for clients follows the same pattern of communicating with the client to figure out what they want, rough sketching my idea to get approval, allowing for a few revisions where needed, creating the line art and filling in with color, get final approval from the client, and finally handing off with any file size and type they may need.

Streaming Emote Creation

I have had the opportunity to create streaming emotes and subscriber badges for multiple streamers, which I LOVE creating. It is such a fun way to express yourself as a streamer, and offer a great incentive to potential stream subscribers. This process would include discussing with the client their wants and needs, then creating a concept sketch for each emote. After presenting to client and recieving feedback, I would complete the hi-fidelity designs and send them in a file, including all file sizes needed. They could then use the emotes on any streaming platform or Discord server.
